Sedona Torres has been a singer and songwriter ever since she can remember, and began singing in various churches at an early age. During Sedona’s teenage years, she performed lead roles in a variety of musicals as well as performing her own compositions in talent shows and competitions. Sedona continued to pursue her musical development in college, singing and playing her flute professionally at churches, fairs, and festivals. She also continued to perform in musical theater and with a comedy troupe where she made spontaneous musical creations. Sedona was a singer and songwriter with the band Atomic Soul from 1997-2009 performing a variety of original songs in the alternative genre. In 2009, she formed Sedona Fire with her partner Michael.
Michael Dinan has been a singer and songwriter ever since he picked up a guitar and harmonica during his teenage years and started trying to emulate Bob Dylan. Michael studied creative writing in college and began taking his songwriting more seriously. In 1999, he recorded his first full length CD, Manic Prana. Michael has played and hosted a variety of open mics and has performed formally at the Unity Church of Madison, The Madison Center for Conscious Living, and the First Unitarian Society of Madison. Michael also performed at his own Heart of Aquarius church services, doing a musical ministry that spanned four years. Michael’s band credits include playing guitar for two years for the kirtan services of Maa Shakti Das. In 2009, Michael moved to the coast of Oregon and formed Sedona Fire with his partner Sedona.
Sedona Fire has played at Unity By the Sea in Glenden Beach, the Manzanita Farmers Market, the Wheeler Summerfest, the Tillamook 2nd St. Market, and a variety of sound healing events hosted by their healing center, the Rainbow Lotus. They have also played at art openings, birthday parties, weddings, and funerals. Sedona sings lead vocals and plays flute and a variety of sound healing instruments. Michael sings and plays guitar, harmonica, and a variety of sound healing instruments.
